2008 Oregon and Washington Contract Changes
This year there were several legislative changes passed in Oregon and Washington that will affect our plans in 2008. As our commitment continues to transform health care in our community, while honoring legislative intent and guidelines, Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon will be making the changes detailed in the attached grids, to medical, prescription medication and dental plans sold in Oregon and Clark County, Washington beginning January 1, 2008.
We value your critical role as the advisor and navigator of your clients’ health care needs. The attached grids detail the impact of government mandated changes to our plans. The grids also contain information regarding changes in contractual language in order to clarify certain benefits. Please note that the benefit changes and language clarifications are currently pending approval from the Department of Consumer and Business Services.
