Change to Individual Underwriting Process
Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon has changed how medical records are requested for Individual and Family Plan applicants. Underwriting will now require applicants to obtain medical records from their physicians directly and return the records to Regence to continue the underwriting process. This change in our processes should expedite the acquisition of medical records and reduce the number of closed applications due to lack of medical information.
