Regence Introduces Gift Card Drawing for Promotion of Individual Portfolio to Selected Groups
Regence Account Executives are promoting the potential value of Individual coverage to employer groups of 10 – 99 who have no or low dependent contributions for Group Coverage. Account Executives will partner with agents to reach out to groups following the renewal to assist employers who are looking for resources to assist their employees who have chosen not to enroll dependents on the group’s coverage due to expense.
Regence encourages employees to enroll their dependents in their group sponsored coverage if at all possible. However, in some cases that is a financial impossibility. We understand that agents and employers share the goal of providing quality coverage options when families have elected not to cover dependents on their group plan. Often, Individual plans can be an affordable alternative, especially for families with healthy children.
Agents who conduct Individual coverage activities in a group of 10 – 99 that does not contribute to dependent coverage will be entered into a monthly drawing for a $250 gift card. It’s easy to earn an opportunity to be entered into the drawing. Simply work with your Regence AE to provide Regence Individual product information. Here are some examples of activities that would qualify an agent for entry into the drawing:
- Group Administrator visits/education sessions
- Provide Individual Packets on-site
- Lunch time Q and A sessions
- Your creative idea
Just complete the activity, notify your AE, and you will be entered into that month’s drawing.
While many group agents do not focus on Individual coverage, it is a good opportunity to protect your revenue stream in a down economy. Regence can help provide the expertise via your Account Executive and our Individual Sales. We even have a simple way to attach you as Agent of Record when applications are received as a result of activity.
Regence continues to partner with appointed agents to provide creative coverage solutions for employers and individuals in this difficult economy. If you have questions, please contact your Regence Account Executive or Alison Nicholson, Manager of Individual Sales.
