I wanted to let you know that Dorane Wintermeyer will be leaving her role as the Vice President of Oregon's Sales division effective September 30, 2009. In the interim, I will assume responsibility for the Sales division.

Over the course of the past few weeks I have come to the conclusion that we must pursue a different direction, and this new focus requires a change in leadership. I appreciate the contributions that Dorane has made to Regence during her years of service to our company, and I am pleased to say that she is committed to assisting with this transition through the end of September.

I have met with many of you personally to discuss how we can better serve your needs, and I have appreciated your honesty and your support of our efforts to become a more customer-focused organization. Your ongoing feedback will play an important part in the decisions that we will make to improve our business.

My goal is to fill this position as soon as possible. I will keep you updated on our efforts as we move forward, and in the meantime I hope you will join me in wishing Dorane well in her future endeavors.
