2-99 Group Product Availability Changes
Beginning with 1/1/10 effective dates, Regence will be replacing older plans for groups of 2-99 with Regence’s health-focused plan options. Groups will be able to choose from Innova ®, Engage ®, Activate SM or Regence HSA Healthplan 2.0 SM for renewals and new sales. By law, we are required to send communication to our members regarding this transition process at least 90 days prior to renewal. In addition, notification to the group administrator regarding this transition is being sent 100 days prior to renewal. A sample of each letter can be found here:

Your group’s renewal notice will include the following notification regarding the transition process along with information about the health-focused plan options:
To provide greater value and to better serve the needs of our members, we will be replacing older plans with Regence’s new health-focused plan options. Your current plan will no longer be available for your scheduled renewal effective January 1, 2010, but you have the option to choose from Innova, Engage, Activate, or HSA Healthplan 2.0. Action is required on your part in selecting the new plan.
2-99 Group Product Enhancements
Innova, Engage, Activate and HSA Healthplan 2.0 product enhancements beginning January 1, 2010
Engage Product Enhancements:
- A $250 deductible offering
- A $7,500 deductible offering
- A Preventive Care Rider offering. Benefits will be covered at 80% regardless of regular medical coinsurance amount, prior to deductible with no annual benefit limit.
- A flat Rx copay structure of $10/$35/$75 with no out-of-pocket maximum
Innova Product Enhancements:
- A $7,500 deductible offering
- A flat RX copay structure of $10/$35/$75 with no out-of-pocket maximum, existing RX deductible choices will be available with this offering.
Activate, Innova and Engage Enhancements in Oregon Only (Not Clark County):
- We are altering the mental health outpatient benefit by making the mental health/chemical dependency benefits not subject to the annual deductible
