Quoting Recently Termed Oregon Groups of 2-50

Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon has been asked to clarify our position on allowing previously termed Oregon groups (2-50) to re-enroll.  After a review with Regence’s Legal, Underwriting, Regulatory leaders, we have established the following change to our policy.

Effective immediately, Regence will no longer allow a termed Oregon Group (2-50) to re-enroll as a new group until that group’s next renewal date.  For example, if a group with an anniversary date of October 1, 2010 terminates coverage on January 1, 2011, that group would not be able to re-enroll with Regence until October 1, 2011.  This change applies to all terminations including groups with insufficient small group verification documentation.
