Regence Life and Health Update: dental rate increase
August 3, 2011
What: Dental rates increasing an average of 6 percent
When: On policy anniversaries, following July 1st, 2011
Last fall, Regence Life and Health implemented new dental plan designs and quarterly rates for new enrollees. Beginning July 1, 2011, we began implementing annual rate increases for existing Individual dental plan members on their anniversary date. The average increase for the second quarter in 2011 is 6 percent, but may vary depending on family status and age.
It’s important to note that these are the first changes that Regence Life and Health has made to its Individual dental plans since 2009. Since products and services need to grow and change over time to reflect market conditions, the company’s recent analysis indicated the need to make a change in order to ensure the same level of exceptional service for existing and future customers.
We appreciate your continued support of Regence Life and Health products. If you have any questions or feedback, please contact us.
