Interpretation and language services available to members

Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon has interpretation and language services available to members who speak English as a second language. It is our policy is to seek providers who speak other languages in addition to English and who have an awareness of the social/cultural composition of the community. In addition, translation services are provided according to plans for specific product lines such as Regence MedAdvantage. Learn more in the Medicare Advantage Plans section of our Administrative Manual.

The following services are available for our members:

  • TTY/TTD phone line for our speech and hearing impaired members. Dial 711.
  • Language line can be accessed through our member Customer Service phone number.
  • Conserjeros Latinos is our bi-cultural and bilingual liaisons deliver support and assistance to those who need help navigating the health care system due to language and cultural barriers.
